Breaking the Silence

Rating: 5 Glasses
This is not a novel I would have picked up my own but I am glad I read it. It is one of those books that falls into the world of "A Child called It". It is emotionally jarring and heartbreaking to hear of the horrors this woman went through. However at the same time it was empowering to read through her own struggle to find herself and gain her strength. Fair warning it can be very dark where hearing about what she went through so prepare yourself but it is worth it if you stick it out. My fans of emotionally charged finding yourself and overcoming obstacles books will love this novel.
